- Vatican II emphasized the Church is the whole
people of God — clergy, religious and laity — and that
the people of God are active partners in the church's life of
ministry.

- That's true at the Church of the Visitation.
Members of the Parish Pastoral Council, who represent the membership
of the Church of the Visitation, is a practical way to help that
happen. It is the structure by which the parish and staff cooperate
and collaborate in decisions that affect the direction and priorities
of the parish family, one of which is to be a life-giving community
that enables all to reflect Jesus in their lives at home and
in the broader community.
